What We Say, or Ruby Duby

Peter’s college friend Howie years since they

have seen each other came to dinner last night with

his wife.  Howie’s mother owned a clothing store on Main Street

in Catskill called something like Fashion Spot. Last night Howie

described his oldest brother Edward probably not

named after the King married a woman that every single

person disliked even strangers in supermarkets

but she did have a name for a

character in a poem:  Ruby Duby easy with a name like that

to imagine her evil deeds.

Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.
