What Happens Now, or Coping (COVID)

Snow  actual snow in Upstate New York. Colors

became white.  Here we look out

the apartment window  at uncertainty, at rain,

read poll numbers, use the word coping as we

call each other to ask about surviving.

Usual strategies: calling voters, meditation,

Netflix, Netflix Netflix,   quarantinis on Zoom though nothing

works as well as it should because we have a few

more days of speculation, of havoc,

of discussing what living in New Zealand might be like,

of wondering What Happens Now.

Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.

We miss you two. maybe we can get together in a year or so
    Much love, Bob and Ann
