Weather or Not (Day 13 NAMOPO)

Many people write weather poems. And if I were

to write one (never have) today would be the day

because it is Unseasonably Warm two words

that often go together but I would rather tell you

about my neighbor William’s new paramour

we were in the small elevator

together two strangers he was in an expensive suit

to visit William an unemployed juggler man

in the suit I do not know his name he said

Sometimes This Elevator Goes Up.

Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.

  1. Today’s poem from me:
About my cat who is about to die .

Waiting for the Vet to make a House Call
Because this Crazy Cat would not let me
Take him to the Vet when he got sick.

His kitty name was TS Eliot…
    Then he became Lumpy…
Mostly now he is just Crazy Cat.

Not himself , no scratching at every door
No nagging to take me for a walk
    No fighting with the Labs.

I guess he is gone already. Sad.
