Unbridled Grandiosity Part II (COVID)

I’m back taking a sleeping pill that has

Unbridled Grandiosity as a side effect according to

the manufacturer and last night I had One Example in

nightmare form that I could Roller Skate Well.  I haven’t

roller skated in years and even when I did, I was average

or a little less.  But in last night’s dream I was roller skating

in Grand Central Station after a long trip SOMEWHERE and I

couldn’t find the exit door to get to the street but I did find

in a basement how did I skate to the basement  an open window

leading to the street so I climbed into the open window and got

stuck with my legs flailing but a woman who said she was

an Alvin Ailey dancer she was wearing roller skates too came

to rescue me by pushing me out the window

then she and I both skated away.

Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.

  1. Wow!
    Unbridled Grandiosity!
    That was an unparalleled dream/nightmare.
I bet Alvin Ailey dancers are either excellent skaters or they do not skate. At all.
Hope the sleep was as powerful as the dream/nightmare.

it was created to work for depression/anxiety (two things I miraculously don’t have) and now psychiatrists are using half doses for sleep.
