These Days

we strive

for normalcy

although the TV

Press conferences.

Obama’s goodbye.

At the library yesterday

will libraries continue

I got a book for the title

Cities I’ve Never Lived In

I wish she hadn’t used the In

at the library yesterday one of the

librarians said books will never

go away. Of course she’s right.

Esther Cohen
Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.

  1. It’s not the books going away we have to worry about.
It’s the readers not coming in to borrow the books.
Or worse still people not reading books anymore.
