Sukkot (COVID)

Now the Jewish Holiday of Sukkot, commonly called  Feast of Tabernacles or in some translations the Festival of Shelters, and known also as the Feast of Ingathering, is a biblical Jewish holiday celebrated on the 15th day of the seventh month, Tishrei.

We all sit outside in what could be Succoth

shelters where we eat we celebrate exile

celebrate harvest and new walls

made of tarps cloths plants here we all are outside

wondering how long this exile will last how long we will

be outside of our lives how long we will be outside.

Esther Cohen
Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.
