When a good friend dies

you want to do what the friend would want

no one wants their friends standing around

Riverside Funeral Home whole place

looks like the an air freshener if an air freshener

were a building Sandy Kadet AIDS so many years ago

he said when I leave please buy a new dress not black to wear

then go out to eat somewhere with no overhead lighting

take someone with you Japanese food my first choice

he said though I won’t be with you then.

Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.
