Last week a reference librarian named
Erica in the Grand Forks North Dakota public library
responded to my email about Samuel Marck, my mother’s father.
I only knew a few vague details and in one day
Erica sent me his newspaper obituary: brief plot summary
of his life. Samuel Marck, proprietor of a small grocery
store at 120 Cottonwood, came from Rumania, had four
children and died of heart problems at 48.
As for the rest, I’ll probably just make it up.
Aren’t librarians the best super heroes?
And they don’t even wear capes!
Thank you for recognizing librarians as well as memorializing your grandfather.
Yes I LOVE librarians xxxx
What about Mrs. Marck?
Esther…
