Eighteen million people

watched Roseanne she supports this president

her sister on the show liked Hillary

they didn’t talk for many months funny

how Roseanne a TV show

working class family  policewoman sister

how we talk to one another what we say

to get past these enormous differences

every single day now how we find

decency  together and solutions how we find

humor funny how suddenly it seems like

a good idea to watch Roseanne.

Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.

  1. In my heart I don’t want to watch Roseanne the Trump supporter, nor Roseanne the comedian. Didn’t watch her the first time.

  2. I didn’t watch Roseanne the first time either. Except for once or twice when my daughter was watching it… So I am not inclined to watch it now but will tune in once or twice now just to see… Maybe learn how to talk to the one or two trumpets I know.
