Last night late at night
I listened to a new podcast called Nocturne.
Vanessa Lowe has one of those good voices
and the show I heard funny they’re called episodes not shows
was about Lucid Dreaming and Beverly D’Urso,
a lucid dreaming celebrity. Beverly tells you how.
A lucid dream is a dream where you know you’re
dreaming. You learn to control the dream a little.
So there I was, in my bed, on 77th Street
lucid about Greece and the island of Patmos
and the beautiful whitewashed one room stucco house
and in my dream I could smell lemons and the sea
and I was sleeping on the funny striped bed
in one room where all of us were sleeping
listening to a podcast called Nocturne
wondering even though I was actually in Greece (!)
when I’d be back in New York.
Michael and I once attended a Lucid Dreaming Workshop in Hawaii, led by Stephen LaBerge, a lucid dreaming “expert”. We wanted to lucid dream but neither of us were able to do it, although we got close. It was a fun week though, listening to others in our workshop talk about their previous night’s dreams.
I’d love to hear everyone’s dreams
