Meditation: Friday Today

and even though my work week

isn’t Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday

anymore, I work sometimes

sometimes I don’t

and even though my life is not

nine to five either I wake up

very very early 5:30 today for no good reason

and some days not

still I am always glad forFriday

the same way I am always glad

for summer though its been a long long time

since school got out for me

Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.

  3. Well, my basic response to your meditation is courtesy of Gary US Bonds, though I could do without his reference to the NY Yankees:
