I Don’t Really Know What Day It Is But Maybe It Doesn’t Matter (COVID)

Although I do teach every day and Zoom

I still don’t know, not really, what day it is though I can

easily find out but still it’s disconcerting to think that

Monday and Thursday are more or less the same.

Although of course they actually are.  Even

Watching Things  is not day linked except for Saturday Night Live

and we don’t always see on Saturday Nights anymore.

I wonder if After This we will no longer think in terms of days or

if the days will have new names, or if what we believed normal was

will still be normal  again

Esther Cohen
Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.
