Some Body Parts (Continued) (((More Teeth))))

My poems do not continue from day to day.  They never have before.  Teeth a good subject though.

My mother, who did not like

my father’s family much, they were

dour and New Englandish even though

they were all born in Eastern Europe

if Laura Ashley had been around then

they would have been fans my mother

did say often, as though it were

a source of family pride,  Very Good Thing,

that my grandfather on the wrong side

died with every single tooth in his head

he hadn’t lost even one.

Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.
