A Woman Came to Deliver Some Food for Brunch Imagine That (!) (COVID)

Because of the pandemic we now have Delivery

in the middle of nowhere right to our house  and yesterday

the girlfriend of the Scandinavian chef a few towns away

brought Sunday brunch:  whitefish salad, gravlax,

chicken liver pate.  She walked into the house and said

I worked in a well known Chelsea gallery for 24 years.

She wore her Chelsea gallery outfit to deliver our

brunch:  very loose Indigo linen dress

a certain familiar middle aged hipster glasses

she told us that her life changed when the Scandanavian

chef who also earned his living as a carpenter when he

walked into her old country house to help her with her

restoration.  You can imagine, she laughed,

what happened next.

Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.
