A Few More Weeks (COVID)

(Dear Readers If You Sometimes Like These Poems Please Tell Your Friends and Here’s a Poem)

A few more weeks of Morning Joe Rachel

Lawrence O’Donnell  listening to people

Interpret  Polls a few more weeks of calling strangers

explaining why they should vote a few more weeks

maybe it will be longer toying with

Living Somewhere Else But Where New Zealand Costa Rica how about Bolivia

meditating twice a day a few more weeks maybe longer

of wondering what normal is what normal will be.

Let me tell you why I'm here, and why I hope you'll join me. I am here to poem, to play with words, to tell stories when I can, and to ask you for yours. Words are what I love, how I see, and what I say. Words are how I know my life, and how I find my friends. I'm here to ask you to join me. Right here. To send me your stories, and your poems. And to read mine when you can.

  1. i enjoy your poems every day and share with friends…two more weeks and, god willing, a return to some kind of normalcy…hang in there!

  2. our lives and the people that we have met along the wayside is a testament that we can make the world a little better
